After sixteen distinct versions of macOS 10, macOS Big Sur was presented as version 11 in 2020, macOS Monterey was presented as version 12 in 2021, and macOS Ventura was presented as version 13 in 2022. ![]() We can’t expect our Mac hardware to be supported forever, and this is still remarkably extensive for legacy device support.
